I have studied movement for over thirty years! I began my studies in dance, receiving a BFA from Texas Christian University. After my professional dance career I went on to massage school and continued my eduction in Pilates. I was first introduced to Pilates in high school as a way to supplement my ballet classes, it wasn’t until after I graduated from college I realized the full benefits of Pilates…and wanted more!
I began my official Pilates training with another school but eventually found my way to The Pilates Center! I graduated from their Advanced Program and have gone on to complete my Masters. I have been a part of the Training Program since the initial launching of Licensed Studios and Licensed Teacher Trainers. I have had the honor of teaching lectures and holding workshops both nationally and internationally, most recently in Paris.
I also hold the PMA certification.
I truly believe that movement brings joy and optimal health to people and I empower them to find their personal path. I love teaching people how to delve further into the work and I absolutely enjoy working with trainees and other professionals in mentoring their development and understanding of the work.
I have a sharp eye for detail and I believe in striving to meet my students where they are.
