Mentoring Program

The Pilates Center Mentoring Program is a unique and personal opportunity for professional Pilates instructors to study with second generation Master Teachers and The Pilates Center owners, Rachel Taylor Segel and Amy Taylor Alpers. Mentoring is also available with senior instructor Debora Kolwey.

The Mentoring Program is not a certification program nor is it standardized training. Rather, it is an advancement in skills and a strengthening of philosophy that is deeply personal to those being mentored. It is a one-on-one apprenticeship-style opportunity, designed individually in complexity and length by those being mentored.

Mentorees may observe sessions, take private lessons, participate in one-on-one mentoring meetings and have their teaching personally critiqued and guided with their chosen mentor. Cost of this program is as follows:

  • Mentoring session $110.00 (With Rachel T. Segel or Amy T. Alpers)
  • Mentoring session $90.00 (With Debora Kolwey)
  • Privates $85.00 (Discounted 15% with 3 or more)
  • Observations $5.00
  • Observed teachings $110.00 (Discounted 15% with 3 or more)
