Marsha K. Dorman
Biography
Marsha Dorman, has been a movement educator, Pilates teacher and licensed physical therapist in studio and clinic settings for the past 15 years. As a teacher she fosters each student’s relationship with their own body by providing a pathway to healing through supportive coaching and encouragement; and by providing safe and appropriate challenges that allow students to receive maximum benefit from each workout. Above all, she believes in the power of each individual to gain mastery and control over their own health and well-being through conscious movement.
Marsha completed her Pilates training in 2002 at The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, a well-regarded certification program in classical Pilates, requiring 750 hours of intensive hands-on small group workshops, lessons, performance, practice teaching, observation, and written and practical exams. She completed the Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation certification program for health care professionals with Brent Anderson and Elizabeth Larkam in 1999.
