Renee combines her vision as a bodyworker and a teacher of Pilates and Yoga to help her students advance towards optimal health and well-being. RenÃ©e has 30 years of experience teaching in the health and fitness industry and has worked with a variety of clients ranging from the elite athlete to those with both acute and chronic injuries. RenÃ©e infuses each lesson with specific, detailed alignment, attention on the breath, and imagery. She believes that the combination of these elements facilitates an awakening that leads to a deeper understanding of oneself and to the world around them. RenÃ©e is a graduate of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, The Pilates Center Teacher Training Program, Richard Freemanâ€™s Yoga Teacher Training Program and she is a Level 2 Franklin Method Educator. In addition RenÃ©e has studied with Amy Alpers, Rachel Segal, Debora Kolwey, Cara Reeser, Amy Lange, Rael Isacowitz, Richard Freeman, Tias Little, Rodney Yee, John Friend, Judith Lasater, Aadil Palkhivala, Shiva Rea, Wendy Bramlett, Eric Franklin and many others. In 1999 RenÃ©e along with her husband, David Schwartz, cofounded BoulderBodyworks with the vision of creating a center that offered the very best in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
