The Pilates Center in Boulder is committed to carrying out the true mission of the Pilates method taught by Joseph Pilates. His original mission upon developing this incredible method of movement was to heal the world through healing the body.
“We know it’s a big mission [to carry out these teachings], but we truly believe that we teach peace when we empower people to heal their bodies, think clearly, and live a whole and holistic life in health that is rooted in both mind and body,” says co-founder Amy Taylor Alpers.
What began as a dream of teaching private sessions, group classes, and offering rehabilitation services has transformed into an internationally-renowned teacher training program and so much more for Amy and her sister and co-founder, Rachel Taylor Segel.
The Pilates Center’s team couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve achieved together and all that is yet to come. And it’s in that spirit that they are looking forward to The Pilates Center’s 32nd Birthday Bash where everyone can come together and celebrate staying true to the roots of the original classical method of Pilates and its impact on the world.
From November 3-5th, The Pilates Center will be hosting a variety of classes, workshops, and panels that you can attend. We are offering Zoom opportunities for anyone who cannot attend our workshops or panels in-person. Find out more and register to attend the Birthday Bash here.
